YubMark

YubMark is a javascript bookmark that forwards selected text in the current webpage to a yubnub command. In the example below it will do a spellcheck.

javascript:location.href='http://yubnub.org/parser/parse?command=spellcheck%20'
+window.getSelection();

snotep and SAP note bookmarklet (YubSnotep)

Why is YubNub interesting for SAP?

I created some commands that are useful for daily usage related to finding SAP notes.

What are the current SAP commands?

snote = display specific SAP note by number
snotep = display specific SAP note by number in printable* format
squery = query for SAP notes using keywords
sap = alias for SAP marketplace

The printable format (in snotep) allows quicker browsing then the conventional tabbed version. The printable version is more hidden in the classic SAP search but made more available trough YubNub. Another advantage of the printable format is that it also can be used in combination with bookmarklets.

If you select a note number in the printable format and click on the bookmarklet the note will be opened in a sepperate window (Firefox 1.5.0.3).

javascript:open('https://service.sap.com/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=DISP_PRINT&_NNUM='+window.getSelection()); void 1

YubDOS

YubDOS is a simple batch script that enables you to launch yubnub commands from the windows run dialog (or from DOS command prompt). Simply hit the key combination [win]+[r] and start your YubNub command with the "y"-command. Like so:

y gl bootstrap
= == =========
|  |         |
|  |         +-> YubNub command argument
|  +-----------> YubNub command
+--------------> DOS command

Here is the batch script: Attach:y.cmd.txt
